Introduction to 1Body Church
1Body Church is a church of churches that exists to launch and grow movements of multiplying disciples and churches who transform communities until the whole world knows.
We meet in homes, community fields, gyms, businesses and other locations around the Tampa Bay area: Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. Everyone is welcome to connect and collaborate in love and unity with Jesus as our King.
Transforming Communities
To be obedient to both the great commission and great commandment, we have to be actively engaged in both speaking and proclaiming Matt 25 and 28. Using an asset based model, the community and culture is transformed from the inside out. There are 4 relationships Jesus wants to transform and redeem everywhere with everyone: Our relationship with God, with ourselves, with one another and with creation. It is our mission to see that from Tampa unto the uttermost parts of the world as salt and light.
Caring for the Persecuted
Christian persecution is the greatest—but least reported—human rights violation in the world. It is raging at an all-time high with 245 million Christians experiencing high levels of persecution and suffering in the world today. More Christians were killed for their faith last year in Nigeria than the combined total of all other religious killings throughout the world. 1Body church seeks to raise the awareness and biblical responsibility to help them.
