A cool way to engage our community, from disaster prep and response to multiplying disciples and churches:
CERT training at USF Sept 8-10 (free), open to anyone!
“The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates individuals about disaster preparedness and trains and organizes teams of volunteers that can support their communities during disasters.
The CERT Program is a FREE training in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations.
Participants must attend all three days of training to receive their CERT Basic Training Certificate:
• Thursday, Sept 8th, 5-10pm
• Friday, Sept 9th, 5-10pm
• Saturday, Sept 10th, 9am-6pm
Location: USF Health Group Learning Rooms (USF Tampa Main Campus)
